Civic Asia actively seeks contributions from the ground on social issues affecting the civic space of the region – particularly on these themes:

Reporters and Journalists:

Civic Asia welcomes reporting pieces that are focused on local, national or regional coverage of civic space developments in Asia. The key important requirement is that they deliver new and important insights about civic society activities and development.

Commentary and Opinion Writers:

Civic Asia looks forward to original writings that provide insights into the issues and trends within the civic space in Asia. We also welcome the sharing of human stories and experiences on the ground. 

What to send: We publish articles of anywhere between 600–1,500 words, depending on subject complexity. Email us your submission to contact@civicasia.org. We prefer submissions as Google documents so that editors can easily provide feedback and guidance directly within your draft.
